WHO WE ARE
Pop-Up by Scalepoint is a service of Scalepoint Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17294943), registered office 25a Gordon Road, London SE15 2AF. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you send the order pad we collect what you give us: your name, venue name, email address, phone number, venue town or postcode, Instagram or website, the type of business, the plan and extras you’re interested in, how you heard about us and any notes.
If you chat with Pickle, our AI assistant, we keep the conversation so the team can review it and improve the answers.
We also collect basic information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and the general area a visit comes from.
HOW WE USE IT
To reply to your enquiry, talk it through with you and, if you go ahead, build and look after your website. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our service.
We don’t add you to marketing lists without your consent, and we never sell your information.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
A small number of providers who help us run the service: website hosting, email delivery, our customer records system, spam protection, analytics and the AI provider that powers Pickle. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Enquiries that don’t go ahead are kept for up to two years, then deleted. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as we work together and for up to six years after, for legal and accounting reasons.
COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. They only set cookies if you say yes on the cookie banner; until then Google Analytics sends anonymous, cookieless measurements and Clarity doesn’t run. We don’t run advertising cookies. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
